Let’s Talk About Party Exit Stations!
Updated: Apr 16
So you spend months, maybe years, planning the perfect day for your wedding, your child's sweet 16, or your bundle of joy's baby shower. The celebration was spectacular. All of your guests are overjoyed with happiness and love and then BOOM it has come to an end.
Now, do we send your guests off with a typical votive candle or wine glass or, do we send
them away with one last interactive edible experience? Here on Long Island, we like to do things out of the ordinary so these top three exit stations are a fun way to share one extra memory before departure time.
Wedding exit stations are the latest and greatest celebration send-off, and there are so many options. Exit stations are excellent for sweet 16s, baby and bridal showers, birthday parties, or frankly any celebration you can dream up. Let's take a look at some options, from a cool donut wall to a cozy milk and cookie station we've got suggestions.
Here is a list of our top three favorites;
Let’s start with a jar of cake. This one is fun because you can mix and match cake flavors and not only are they delicious but they look super cute. By doing a jarred dessert you will actually be handing out a double favor, a pastry and the mason jar it is provided in. Add on a little mini teaspoon and you are golden. Simple yet memorable.
Another goody is a candy bar exit station. These are great for sweet sixteens especially, but really who doesn’t love the occasional sweet treat indulgence right? Go crazy with this option you can do a specific color scheme theme or decorate your exit station bursting with an array of colors. Long Island also has groovy candy trucks to go with our second exit station idea listed above. Regardless of which you choose, go crazy with your favorite candies and then add in some unlikely or old fashion choices. Get those guests talking candy on their way out. What better way to end your celebration than with sugary treats? Again, same as your cookie jar cake, this is a double whammy with the mason jar option if you choose.
Last but certainly not least a milk and cookie/s’mores station. Here you can get exceptionally creative. Whether you want to spike the milk and have a little white Russian or melt the marshmallow over an open flame the options are endless. Leave your guest feeling filled, cozy, and warm with a wistful childhood feeling.
